Smoke and Mirrors: Debunking the Night Away
Ever wonder why people still believe birds aren’t real? Or how chemtrails became the hill some folks chose to die on? We did too—so we built a cocktail party around it.
Smoke and Mirrors is the latest themed experience from Anna’s Place: four rounds of cocktails, four rounds of smoked barbecue, and one night dedicated to picking apart the conspiracies that somehow still linger in the group chats of your most “interesting” relatives.
We’re not here to fan the flames—we’re here to put them out, with a drink in your hand and a brisket slider in the other. Each cocktail is paired with a conspiracy theory and a matching barbecue bite. We’re talking flavors built around misdirection, paranoia, and the sweet relief of clarity. One round might riff on alien abductions, another on the Denver Airport. The myths are wild—but the drinks are grounded, house-made, and unapologetically intentional.
If you like weird podcasts, smoky cocktails, or bar events that actually make you think, Smoke and Mirrors is your kind of night. It’s equal parts culinary experiment and nerdy séance. We built this one for the curious—not the convinced.
Tickets include all cocktails, all food, and a seat at the table. Seating is limited because we actually care about your experience. Full details (and ticket link) are at annasplaceomaha.com.
Tinfoil hats not required. But hey—if it helps you feel safer, we’re not here to judge.
