Karen Reclaimed Cocktail Party Omaha | Podcast Viewing Event Downtown
Karen, Reclaimed flips the term on its head.
This seated cocktail party is built around “go get your manager” energy — the women who escalated, documented, refused to back down, and used persistence to create real change.
The night is structured as a live airing and viewing of the Anna’s Place podcast. Each round centers on a different figure and the tactic she used, paired with a scratch-made cocktail and an intentional food course.
Four structured rounds.
Four cocktails built from scratch.
Four courses of food by Pie Fairy, designed specifically to frame and sharpen each drink.
This is not an open bar night. It’s a paced, guided experience that moves like a live recording — layered, deliberate, and built to hold attention.
Limited seats. Two timed seatings.

Gin & Tonic Tasting with Tea Sandwiches by Pie Fairy
Gin & Tonic didn’t begin as a patio drink. It began as medicine.
In the 19th century, British officers in India were prescribed quinine to prevent malaria. Quinine is intensely bitter, so it was mixed with sugar, water, citrus — and eventually gin. The combination stuck. What started as a functional tonic became one of the most enduring highball templates in cocktail history.
At this tasting, we return to that structure — but with intention.
Instead of relying on commercial tonic water, we build our own. House-made tonic allows us to control bitterness, sweetness, citrus oil, and carbonation. The goal isn’t nostalgia. It’s precision. Each gin expression interacts differently with quinine, botanicals, and acid, and small adjustments change the entire experience in the glass.
Over the course of one focused hour, we’ll move through multiple gin and tonic builds, each paired with tea sandwiches by Pie Fairy designed to highlight citrus, temper bitterness, or amplify herbal notes.
This is a guided Gin & Tonic tasting at Anna’s Place in downtown Omaha — structured, deliberate, and rooted in cocktail history rather than default pours.

Dumb Ways to Die: Cocktail Party @ Anna’s Place
New Menu Launch Party
Dumb Ways to Die is a ticketed cocktail party and new menu launch at Anna’s Place in downtown Omaha. This four-round cocktail experience is part safety meeting, part dark humor, part craft deep-dive.
Each round introduces a newly launched cocktail, with the story behind the drink, the inspiration, and why every ingredient earned its place in the glass. The throughline: real-world moments where poor safety decisions led to fatal outcomes. Educational. Irreverent. Intentionally uncomfortable.
As always, food is provided by The Pie Fairy, paired specifically to each round. Drinks are built in-house, scratch-made, and designed to be discussed, not rushed.
This event takes place Sunday, March 1 at our Hotel Indigo Omaha Downtown location and is 21+ only. Tickets are $75, required for entry, non-refundable, and transferable.
This is how we introduce new menus at Anna’s Place: seated, guided, story-driven cocktail parties in Omaha with a clear point of view.
Buried in my Closet
Buried in My Closet — Galentine’s Day Edition | February 12
Buried in My Closet is a night built around the outfit you’ve been saving for “someday.” The one that’s lived in the back of your closet for years because there was never quite a right place to wear it. This is that place.
For this Galentine’s Day edition on February 12, Anna’s Place turns Valentine’s Day inward—toward friendships, self-expression, and showing up exactly as you are. Come dressed with intention, not irony. Sit in low light, drink something thoughtfully made, and spend the night surrounded by people who decided this was the moment.
Adding to the evening, Daisy Jones Locker will be onsite with a curated selection from their collection, giving you a chance to browse accessories and pieces that feel at home in a night like this. No performances. No spectacle. Just a Galentine’s Day night out in Omaha that rewards care, style, and presence.
Tarot Tuesday
Weekly Tarot Tuesday at Anna’s Place offers in-person tarot readings in Omaha paired with craft cocktails in an intimate downtown bar setting.
Tom and Jerry Night
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
